Family Game Night:  Please join us for a Family Game night next Saturday, March 7, at 6:30 pm. This event is for ages 12 and up.  If you would like to participate, please write your name on the sign-up sheet in the FLC, as well as what game you would like to bring with you, and what snack you would like to bring to share. Please note, you do not have to bring a game or a snack to participate, we really just want to see you here having fun!

Easter Egg Candy Donations:  On Saturday, April 11, we will be hosting a community Easter Egg Hunt here at ICRC.  We are asking for candy donations to fill the plastic eggs for this event.  If you are able to donate a bag or two of wrapped candy, please bring it to the church office at your earliest convenience.  We will be accepting donations until Sunday, April 5.

February Mission of the Month: Lansing Christian Services.

The Flowers Today:  Have been placed by Fred and Kandy H in celebration of Kristine H’s birthday.

Backpack Ministry:  We will be filling backpacks for Cumberland today. If you are available to help with this ministry, please come downstairs to the food pantry immediately following the service.

New Members Class:  Will be in the library following the morning service at 11:30 am.  If you are new to Immanuel or if you have attended for a while but have not yet become a member, come and learn more about what excites us, how we operate, and how you fit into the big picture!

Sr. High Lock-In:  There will be a lock-in here at church for the Senior High Youth Group on Friday, February 21- Saturday, February 22, from 8 pm-8 am.  Each student should bring a 2 liter of pop, a snack to share, and a friend.

Dinner and a Movie Night:   The Burcham Small group is hosting a dinner and a movie night this Saturday, February 22.    We will be serving pizza, salad, and dessert for dinner in the FLC at 5:30 pm. We will then head up to the sanctuary afterwards to watch the movie “Breakthrough.”  Childcare will be provided.

Family Game Night:  Please join us for a Family Game night on Saturday, March 7, at 6:30 pm. This event is for ages 12 and up.  If you would like to participate, please write your name on the sign-up sheet in the FLC, as well as what game you would like to bring with you, and what snack you would like to bring to share. Cupid Carnival: This Wednesday, February 12, we will be serving pizza, salad, and dessert at 5:30 pm.  The kids will then enjoy a Cupid Carnival in the Family Life Center starting at 6:15 pm. 

Outreach Ministry Team Meeting: Thursday, February 13, at 6:30 pm. Anyone who is interested in getting involved in our outreach programs is encouraged to attend.

Deacon and Elder Nomination Ballots: If you are a member here at ICRC, a nomination ballot for a new deacon and elder was placed in your mailbox here at church.  Please prayerfully consider somebody that you would like to nominate for these positions, fill out your ballot, and then place it in the blue ballot box on the table next to the mailboxes.

February Mission of the Month: Lansing Christian Services aims to help churches meet people’s needs with the love of Jesus Christ. The Christian Services Help Center (394-5411) is the place where the needs of people in our community can be heard. Dedicated church volunteers answer the help line phones, listen compassionately to each caller, verify information, and then connect them with the appropriate church or community resource.

New Member's Class Begins Today:  There will be 2 classes offered, one before the service starting at 8:30 am, in the Burcham Small Group Room #14, located towards the back of the gym.  The second class will be offered immediately following the service at 11:30 am, in the choir room # 12, located just to the right as you come down the stairs from the sanctuary. If you are new to Immanuel or if you have attended for a while but have not become a member, come and learn more about what excites us, how we operate, and how you fit into the big picture!

Pick Up Your Super Bowl Subs Today in the FLC:   Payment is due at this time. Thank you to all who ordered.  The proceeds from this sale will go towards our 2020 mission trips.

Youth Group Super Bowl Party:  Young Adults, Sr. High, and Jr. High Youth, meet here tonight at 6:00 p.m. to cheer on your favorite team for the Super Bowl! The party will end at half time so please plan your ride accordingly.  If you have any questions, contact Joey South.

January Mission of the Month: The City Rescue Mission of Lansing.

We Will be Packing Backpacks for Cumberland Following the Service Today:  Please come to the basement if you are able to help.  We will deliver the bags this Wednesday, January 15, at 5:30 pm.

 CONNECT: This Wednesday we will be serving sloppy joes, baked beans, chips, salad, and dessert for dinner at 5:30 pm.  The CONNECT kids will meet at 6:15 pm. to learn about the tenth commandment which warns us against envy and teaches us to be grateful for what we have. Jr. High Youth meet at 6:15 pm.

Adult Bible Study:  Following the CONNECT dinner on Wednesday nights, Pastor Tom will be teaching an Adult Bible Study class starting at 6:30 pm. in the choir room.  It will be sermon based; this week will focus on Colossians 2. 

CONNECT Kids Karate Class:  The CONNECT Kids will enjoy and exciting night of karate with an instructor from Victory Martial Arts next Wednesday, January 22! This is not just a lesson, they get to participate as well, so please make sure that they wear comfortable clothing and encourage them invite their friends!

We Would Like to Continue Serving Home-made Cookies on the First Sunday of Each Month During Fellowship After the Service:  There is a sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board in the Family Life Center if you would like to make cookies to share.  Those home-made cookies were so-o-o good during our coffee hour last Sunday!  Thank you, Barb K and Kerri M!

January Mission of the Month: The City Rescue Mission of Lansing provides shelter to 140 women, children, and men every night and serve about 100,000 meals every year. They are a Christian ministry which exists for the sole purpose of meeting the physical and spiritual needs of our community!

Backpacks for Cumberland: We will be filling backpacks today immediately following the service.  If you would like to help, please join us downstairs in the food pantry.

Please Join Us in the FLC After the Service Today:  There will be lots of nativity displays set up to look at and to learn about as well as Christmas cookies to enjoy.  Rick H will also have unique items for sale from the Village of Hope in Uganda and from Bethlehem.

November Mission of the Month: “No Senior Without a Christmas”. Each year TRIAD fills 350 boxes with household supplies, non-perishable food, and holiday cheer. The boxes are then delivered to needy, older adults living in the tri-county region of Ingham, Clinton, and Eaton counties. Each box is delivered by a uniformed law enforcement officer or fire personnel. We will be passing the offering plates a second time this morning for this very important mission.

We Will be Packing Backpacks Today:  Please come downstairs immediately after the service.  Your help is greatly appreciated.

Sara E is Here Today to Share with Us an Update on What’s Been Happening in Honduras This Year. She will also have items on display in the FLC after the service:  Coffee for sale, grade school items, as well as some new handwoven baskets.  Please stop in to check them out!

November Mission of the Month: “No Senior Without a Christmas”. Each year TRIAD fills 350 boxes with household supplies, non-perishable food, and holiday cheer.  Church Decorating Night- Kick off your own Christmas Spirit by helping to decorate our church Saturday, November 30 from 4-6 pm!  Decorating jobs will be listed on a sign-up sheet in the FLC.  Each job will have a specific number of blanks next to it indicating how many “helpers” are needed for that project.    There will be jobs for all ages and abilities. We will have pizza afterwards in the choir room. Please sign up so that we can get a count for pizza.

 Backpack Ministry- We will be packing bags today after service.  Please come downstairs to the food pantry after service if you would like to help.  Deliveries to Cumberland will be on Wednesday, October 23, at 5:30 pm.

 Soup Luncheon Fundraiser: Please join us after the service today to enjoy some delicious soups and desserts. There will be a free will offering to help our youth groups raise money for outings, camps, missions, etc.  Thank you to all who provided a soup or a dessert for this occasion, we are grateful for you!

 CONNECT Pumpkin Carnival, Wednesday, October 30:  There will be lots of fun and games for the kids to enjoy, ages pre-school through elementary school.  Adults are also welcome to come and can even volunteer to run a game if they would like!  There is an event created for this on Facebook, so please visit our page and share, share, share!

 Today is Our CROP Hunger Walk:  Walkers will register at Grace United Methodist Church, starting at 1:00 pm.  This 5K walk starts at 2:00 pm.  There is still time to join the walk or to sponsor a walker.  See Marcia J to sign up.  Thanks to all of the walkers and their sponsors for participating! 

 Please Keep June B in Your Prayers:  While she recovers from her knee replacement surgery that she had done Friday, October 11.

 Please Keep Carroll and Sandi S in Your Prayers:  They will be traveling to Duke on Saturday, October 19, for Sandi’s lung check-up.
