Sunday School Sunday, 9:30-10:30, September through April
Sunday school is offered for all youth, Junior High (grades 6th-8th) and Senior High (grades 9th-12th).
The Junior High class follows the "...Walk With Me" curriculum, a three-year rotation of Bible stories that incorporates a combination of video, drama, weekly readings, storytelling or other means to help the youth learn application as they are learning the Word.
The Senior High class uses a variety of curriculum by current authors to engage the Word at a level that challenges them to live and apply God's Word in their own life and actions.
'1-in-All' Senior High Youth grades 9th-12th Sunday, 5:30-7:30pm, September through May
Youth gather each week for discussion, service, social justice activities and fellowship. Some events or activities occur at alternate times, so please check the church calendar for specific dates. In addition to the weekly meetings, monthly service and monthly social activities, youth also participate in a Work Mission trip each summer. Past mission projects have included work in the Appalachian Mountains, a work project on a senior's home in south Lansing, a 10-day mission trip to Honduras, and home renovation/ramp construction for a family in Calumet, MI. The trip for 2011 will be to Sharp Park Campgrounds near Middleville, MI. Youth also plan and lead worship for Youth Sunday as a service offering to the congregation each spring. For those younger musicians (singers or instrumentalists) who would like to continue to be involved with our music program, we provide many solo and ensemble opportunities at our 8:30 and 11:00 services throughout the year. To get involved, please contact our Director of Music & Dance Ministries, Abbie Matthews at (abbie@icrclansing.org).

There are plenty of opportunities for special solos, and ensembles (vocal or instrumental) to be presented at our worship services, so please contact our Director of Music & Dance Ministries, Abbie Matthews at abbie@icrclansing.org if this is an area where you would like to get involved.
Drama Ministry
Our Drama Ministry is open to all those who enjoy acting, readers’ theater, set design, lighting, and props. This group is often called upon by the Worship Planning Team to provide a short skit, or a Readers’ Theater for special services, or as an introduction to a sermon series. Examples of programs this group has participated in include skits for sermon series such as “What Not to Wear,” and “Myth Busters,” and Readers’ Theater for Maundy Thursday, and Christmas Eve services. If you are interested in being a part of this drama ministry, please contact Sally Folkringa (office@icrclansing.org), or Karla Ter Haar.
