CONNECT: Plan to join in the celebrating of Christmas fun this Weds! Dinner is 5:30 p.m and the Church Christmas Party will follow. We have had GREAT attendance and fellowship in all ages. Choir will resume that night at 8:00 p.m.!
Mission of the Month: The ICRC Camp Grants will be our emphasis this month.
Backpack Ministry will be receiving food from the food bank on Wednesday, Dec 6. If you have time at 2:00 pm that day for half to one hour please be at the church at that time. Thank you to all who help with this ministry.
Christmas Program and Brunch: Our youth and children will be presenting a fun part for our Dec. 17th service. There is a potluck brunch in the fellowship hall following. There is a sign for that, so you can indicate what you'll bring for the Potluck. Church potlucks are the best!
Nursery volunteers NEEDED! I’ve had people requesting to be taken off this service opportunity; if you are willing to help fill in the gaps, please sign up in the Family Life Center and write down how often you are willing to help. The families appreciate an opportunity to worship without distraction once in a while. Thank you.
Compassion Sponsorship: Check out the bulletin board by the boxes! Our Immanuel children celebrated “Z”s Birthday at Connect. They made birthday cards and decorated cupcakes in his honor, along with taking pictures to send to him! Your donations come alongside their excitement and keep “Z” clothed, enjoying a warm meal and going to school. Your donations are welcome …and the children would be blessed to see some new faces in their room, if you have not seen it down there yet!
DIRECTORY UPDATES: Thank you for those changes that are trickling in to the office. When we need to connect with you, it is frustrating to find we are missing information or have outdated information. Please keep emailing/calling with new information. We even have duplicate emails and need to know which is best to use. Please look at the present directory and check out your listing there. Thank you!
Eleanor Nederveld wants to send a special thank you to the Burcham Small Group and others who have sent her cards, calls, visits and fellowship. She may be waiting to meet her Savior, but you have made her life a bit of heaven on earth.
Another Thank you from the Heusinkvelds:
It is with humble hearts that Pastor Rich and I thank all our ICRC family for your support the last few months. Your prayers and encouraging words were a great help in keeping me calm and positive going into knee replacement surgery. The dinners brought in were all tasty and kept from having Richard overloaded with my care.
It’s been 3 weeks now since surgery and the pain is lessening and I can walk without even a cane. However, we covet your continued prayers as the sciatic pain and “sitting situation” has not gone away. We do have a referral to U of M Neurology and hope to hear from them soon.
Thank you again for the cards and visits and food. We have experienced the knee miracle and now wait for the next one. God Bless!
Siloam Church: Our Brothers and Sisters have been blessed to be here and so very thankful for our openness to welcome them.
