ANNOUNCEMENTS:

November Consistory Calling Team: Fred Hannula (321-2345) and Bruce Ter Haar (898-7306).

Today’s Flowers are provided by Jessica Leese for David’s 40th Birthday.

Sara Eytcheson will be leaving the handmade gifts and ornaments with her mother, Sheryl, so if you didn’t get a chance to purchase anything last weekend, talk to her.  If there is enough interest, Sheryl may bring back a small display to church.

From Kate Breukink:  I am applying to spend next year abroad. Part of my application is finding a few families willing to host here.  If you are interested in information, please ask me or call my parents.  You will need to have a spare bedroom for the student and will have a background check conducted.

Compassion Sponsorship:  Our Immanuel children celebrated “Z”’s Birthday at Connect.  They made cards to share and decorated cupcakes in his honor, along with taking pictures to send to him!  Your donations come alongside their excitement and keep “Z” clothed, enjoying a warm meal and going to school. The offering box is in the new Children & Worship room so children can bring their donations to class.  Your donations are always welcome in the offering…and the children would be blessed to see some new faces gracing their new room, if you have not seen it down there yet!

UPDATES:  A new directory is being prepared.  Thank you for those changes that are trickling in to the office. Keep emailing/calling with new information, whether email or phone changes.  We have duplicate emails for some and need to know which is best to use.  For your adult children, if they prefer a listing as “Friends of Immanuel”, or have their own listing, please let us know. Thanks.

CONNECT:  We meet Wednesdays; dinner is 5:30 p.m; Jr. High Youth, Children's Ministry, and Pastor’s ACTS study follow. Come enjoy the lively discussions. We have had GREAT attendance in all ages, and the Pumpkin Carnival was a smashing success.  The Children will be making stained glass decorations for our Christmas-time decorating party Nov. 29th. Plan to join us that night!  No Choir the rest of November!

Siloam Church:  Our Brothers and Sisters have been blessed to be here and so very thankful for our openness to welcome them.
