Flowers for December will be poinsettias.  You may help to purchase these by signing up BY TODAY to sponsor plants, which can be taken after the Christmas Eve Service.

Mission of the Month:  The ICRC Camp Grants will be our emphasis this month.  Thanks to Daisy and Brian W. for our video today!

CONNECT:  There will be no CONNECT dinner or classes until we resume January 10.  Have a blessed Advent and Christmas!...

Painting Class, however, will be holding the last class of the year this Tuesday, the 12th, at 6:30p.m., so you can come there and make a fun painting to take home.

Staff Gift: The church as a whole gives each paid staff member a Christmas gift, so if you would like to contribute, please mark your check and put it in the offering. If any individual would like to do personal gift, that is also welcomed.

Nursery volunteers NEEDED!  I’ve had people requesting to be taken off this service opportunity; if you are willing to help fill in the gaps, please sign up in the Family Life Center and write down how often you are willing to help. The families appreciate an opportunity to worship without distraction once in a while.  Thank you.

The 2018 Flower Calendar is posted in the Family Life Center. This is a great opportunity to honor a loved one or special occasion. Please note next to your name, or via an email/call to the office by Tuesday of the week you’ve chosen, if there is a particular dedication (and please print clearly to help the secretary).

Compassion Sponsorship:  Our young friend from Bangladesh, affectionately referred to as “Z”, will be receiving the children’s cards and pictures soon.  Please pray it brightens his Christmas celebration and the heart of his family and community.  We have no idea the impact of such simple gifts to someone who has nothing.

Siloam Church:  Our Brothers and Sisters have been blessed to be here and so very thankful for our openness to welcome them.

Eleanor N. wants to send a special thank you to the Burcham Small Group and others who have sent her cards, calls, visits and fellowship.  She may be waiting to meet her Savior, but you have made her life a bit of heaven on earth.

Another Thank you from the H's:

It is with humble hearts that Pastor Rich and I thank all our ICRC family for your support the last few months.  Your prayers and encouraging words were a great help in keeping me calm and positive going into knee replacement surgery.  The dinners brought in were all tasty and kept from having Richard overloaded with my care.

It’s been 3 weeks now since surgery and the pain is lessening and I can walk without even a cane.  However, we covet your continued prayers as the sciatic pain and “sitting situation” has not gone away.  We do have a referral to U of M Neurology and hope to hear from them soon.

Thank you again for the cards and visits and food.  We have experienced the knee miracle and now wait for the next one.  God Bless!

Center!  Dr. Brad Johnson, from Asbury Seminary, will lead discussions about living our values in our walk with God, connecting us with past stories and times and drawing us to make the most of today.  The Young at Heart singers will perform, delighting all with their singing.  See the Farnums for details.

Worship On the Waterfront Today: Sunday, August 13, Jason Crabb will return  with his power, range, and passion that moves him among musical styles of gospel, country, pop and southern gospel.  These concerts are worth the drive to the Grand Haven Waterfront Stadium; 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.  No cost, no tickets, just a free will offering taken.  Next Sunday, August 20, join the Luceros to see Citizen Way!  This trio’s songs sport pop-rock influences, infectious lyrics and a great sound.

Well, not everything can be around forever, but things can be fun to look at again.  Sheryl P. was going through her mother's things and found some old church directories, back to 1960!  You might get a chuckle and a sweet memory from looking through this Immanuel History.  We don’t want them misplaced or damaged, so they are available for use only while you’re in our library.
